| When/do I need a sound card? Do I have to have this to play SyncAlong CD's. The manual isn't very clear or user friendly. I purchased two new SyncAlong CD's and only the piano plays. |

The soundcard is used when you are on source for Midi Input. When you have a PNOscan strip or a keyboard you can connect it to the Ancho to play Synthesized sounds through the Sound Card.
The sound card can also be used for playing piano synthesized sound out to a stereo system where the system extends the bounds of the piano itself.
The sound card can be used with SyncAlong but really most people do not use it for that. SyncAlong is when you play the piano along with the music to your favorite artists CDs. The piano part in the case of the Ancho resides in the flash card drive.
If you are not hearing the audio with it you either don't have your audio volume up, you don't have speakers, or something has been wired incorrectly. When you play a SyncAlong you should hear the same audio as if you put the CD in your CD player and played it. If you need help you can call QRS 800-247-6557 and ask for Ancho Tech Support they should be able to walk you through to a solution pretty quick. |
